Slideshare gets an advisory board

I am not sure how popular SlideShare is, but I find it extremely useful. It is a great resource for some great (and some terrible) presentations, has a cool interface and puts social features around it. The Facebook app is also quite nice. Via Webyantra comes the news of SlideShare’s advisory board. It’s one made up of some industry heavyweights - Guy Kawasaki, Hal Varian, and Ross Mayfield. Hopefully this only means bigger and better things for the company.
Here is a cool set of slides from CTO Jonathan Boutelle about SlideShare, Ruby and S3
PS. What I did not know was that its CEO, Rashmi Sinha was did her graduate work in cognitive neuroscience. Cool!!!
